Ingredients:

  • 3-4 Octopus
  • ½ cup young tamarind leaves
  • 1 cup Coconut cream
  • 1.5 cups Dilute Coconut cream
  • ¾ teaspoon Shrimp paste
  • 8 shallots
  • 1 coriander root
  • 2 teaspoons of palm sugar
  • 1.5 tablespoons fish sauce
  • Tamarind paste, as desired

Procedure:

  1. Wash and clean. Then pat it dry.
  2. Put coconut milk in a pot and heat it. Add crushed onions and simmer over low heat, stirring frequently.
  3. Add young tamarind leaves to boil. Season with palm sugar, fish sauce, and tamarind paste.
  4. Add the Octopus, boil and simmer until the water is absorbed into the meat. Turn off the heat and lower.
